DOWNLOAD OWNERS MANUALCommon troubleshooting
Issues are rare, but as we ship all our PCs across the nation a rough courier can dislodge (but not damage) certain components.
This usually results in a few common “Issues”. These are easily solved, and require no technical knowledge. 95%+ of the time, following these simple troubleshooting guides will have you up and running in minutes, without having to get in contact and await a response. Attempting these steps does not void your warranty!
They will, in most instances, get you up and running shortly, or at least ensure you will get the quickest resolution should you need to contact us.
I'm missing a monitor
Our monitors are shipped in a separate package, to avoid damage in transit. This means that they may arrive separately.
They should arrive same day, but in some cases may arrive a day or two later.
If they still haven’t arrived, contact us.
my pc is powering but there's no display
Firstly, ensure that your monitor is powered on and properly connected. If the monitor has multiple inputs, make sure it is set to the correct input (i.e. HDMI/DP)
If you have a Gaming PC or workstation with a GPU installed, ensure that your display cable is connected to the GPU (Graphics card), not the motherboard. These are the ports approximately 1/2 way down the PC, not the ones by the USB ports at the top.
Check your keyboard as the PC powers on, and see if the NUMLOCK LED lights up. If it does, try a different display cable and a different port. Use a different monitor if possible too.
A full troubleshooting guide can be found in our owners manual. Click the button above to download this.
If none of this works, contact us and send detailed photos showing the inside of the PC, and the rear showing how you have connected everything. We’ll be more than happy to help.
my pc is turning on and off
Firstly, ensure that your power cable is inserted all the way.
It’s likely that your RAM has come loose, and this is one of the most common issues caused by an extra rough courier. In 99% of cases, this can be solved by simply re-seating the RAM.
Click the button above to download our Owners Manual. Follow the guide to re-seating ram. Try every possible combination, and use deductive reasoning to find if a RAM stick has been damaged.
If you have a damaged RAM stick, or can’t get this to work, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
my pc isn't turning on
Firstly, make sure that your PC’s power cable is plugged in fully, and that (if applicable) the switch on your PSU is turned on (to the I position).
Make sure that the PC is plugged directly into a known working wall plug socket, not an extension lead.
If this doesn’t work, most households will have spare kettle leads. Try a different cable, ideally one that you can test with a different appliance.
If none of this works, contact us and send detailed photos showing the inside of the PC, and the rear showing how you have connected everything. We’ll be more than happy to help.
