Memory / RAM
RAM is important in any computer – if you’ve ever opened too many Chrome tabs and a load of programs on your laptop, then experience any sluggishness, running out of RAM is to blame.
That’s why we ensure that all our computers have at least 8GB of RAM, needed to run modern games, and to do homework/browsing/editing without your PC slowing down. 8GB of RAM is enough to run most modern games smoothly. It’s a common misconception that more RAM always improves FPS, but this is only the case when you’ve ran out of RAM in memory hungry games such as Warzone. More RAM is better, if you want to run games and other programs simultaneously.
There are many different types and speeds of RAM, which slightly affect FPS, but the most important feature of your memory, is how much of it there is.
